Terms & Conditions
Last updated: September 2026
These Terms & Conditions apply to the provision of wheelie bin cleaning and associated services by Binzii™ (“Binzii”, “we”, “us” or “our”) to customers (“you” or “your”).
By placing an order, making a booking, purchasing a subscription or otherwise using our services, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.
1. Our Services
Binzii provides domestic and commercial wheelie bin cleaning services.
Our service may include:
- Exterior and interior cleaning of wheelie bins;
- Pressure washing;
- Sanitising and deodorising;
- Removal of normal residual dirt and waste;
- Other related cleaning services offered on our website from time to time.
Where a recurring cleaning service is selected, we will normally aim to clean your bin following collection and emptying by your local waste collection authority or contractor.
2. Bookings
Bookings may be made through our website or through another booking method authorised by Binzii.
You are responsible for providing accurate information, including:
- Your name and contact details;
- The service address;
- The number and type of bins to be cleaned;
- Your normal bin collection day;
- Any information reasonably required to identify your bins; and
- Any access information necessary to provide the service.
You must notify us if your collection day or other relevant information changes.
3. Bin Identification
Customers may be provided with a Binzii identification tag, label, QR code or other identification system.
Where provided, this should remain attached to the bin in the position instructed by Binzii.
The identification system remains the property of Binzii unless otherwise stated.
You should notify us if an identification tag or marker becomes damaged, lost or removed.
Binzii will take reasonable steps to identify the correct bin but cannot be held responsible for a missed service where the customer’s bin cannot reasonably be identified.
4. Access to Your Bin
Your bin must be accessible to our cleaning team on the scheduled cleaning day.
Unless otherwise agreed, the bin should be left at or close to its normal collection point following emptying.
Our team must have safe and reasonable access to the bin.
We are not required to enter locked gardens, buildings or other restricted areas unless prior arrangements have been made.
If we cannot access or identify the bin, this may be treated as a missed clean and the normal charge may still apply.
5. Your Bin Must Be Empty
Our service is intended to take place after the bin has been emptied.
We cannot normally clean bins that:
- Have not been emptied;
- Contain significant household or commercial waste;
- Contain hazardous materials;
- Contain liquids, chemicals, paint, oils or solvents;
- Contain human or animal waste beyond normal domestic refuse residue;
- Contain sharp or dangerous objects; or
- Present a health or safety risk to our staff.
We reserve the right not to clean any bin that we reasonably consider unsafe.
6. Cleaning Standards
We aim to leave bins visibly clean, hygienic and deodorised.
However, wheelie bins are working waste containers and we cannot guarantee the complete removal of:
- Permanent staining;
- Discolouration;
- Scratches;
- Paint;
- Tar;
- Adhesives;
- Rust;
- Chemical staining; or
- Damage already present.
Reasonable wear, staining or discolouration does not mean that the service has not been properly performed.
7. Scheduled Cleaning
For recurring customers, our cleaning schedule will normally be linked to the relevant local authority or waste contractor collection cycle.
Collection schedules can change because of bank holidays, weather, vehicle breakdowns, industrial action or other circumstances outside our control.
Where reasonably possible, we will adjust our cleaning schedule accordingly.
We cannot guarantee an exact arrival time.
8. Missed Bin Collections
If your local authority or waste contractor does not empty your bin, we may be unable to clean it.
Where reasonably practicable, we may attempt to rearrange the clean. However, this cannot be guaranteed.
Where the failure to clean results from circumstances outside Binzii’s reasonable control, this will not automatically entitle the customer to compensation.
Nothing in these terms affects any statutory rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
9. Missed Cleans by Binzii
If we fail to provide a scheduled clean for reasons within our control, please contact us.
Depending on the circumstances, we may:
- Return to complete the clean;
- Credit the missed clean against a future service; or
- Provide an appropriate refund.
Any remedy will be provided in accordance with your statutory consumer rights.
10. Weather and Operational Disruption
Services may be postponed where conditions make cleaning unsafe or impractical, including severe weather, freezing conditions, flooding, road closures or other operational disruption.
Where possible, we will rearrange affected services.
11. Prices
Current prices are displayed on our website or provided to you when booking.
Prices may vary depending upon:
- Number of bins;
- Frequency of cleaning;
- Bin size;
- Location;
- Service type; and
- Any promotional or group scheme applicable to your account.
We reserve the right to change our prices.
For existing recurring customers, we will provide reasonable notice of any material price increase before it takes effect.
12. Payment
Payment may be taken:
- At the time of booking;
- Automatically on a recurring basis;
- By Direct Debit;
- By debit or credit card; or
- Through another payment method offered by Binzii.
Where you select a recurring service, you authorise the relevant recurring payments until the service is cancelled in accordance with these Terms.
If a payment fails, we may temporarily suspend the service until payment has been received.
13. Subscriptions and Recurring Services
Where you purchase a recurring service, it will continue at the agreed frequency until cancelled.
The applicable price, billing frequency and service frequency will be shown when you subscribe.
We will not impose a minimum contractual period unless this is clearly disclosed before you purchase the service.
14. Cancellation
You may cancel a recurring service through the cancellation method provided on our website or by contacting us.
Cancellation will stop future services and payments in accordance with the notice period stated when you purchased the service.
Where you purchase services online, you may also have statutory cancellation rights under UK consumer law. Nothing in these Terms is intended to restrict those rights.
Where you ask us to begin providing a service during a statutory cancellation period, you may be required to pay for services already supplied where permitted by law.
15. Promotions and Neighbour Referral Schemes
Binzii may offer discounts, referral rewards, neighbourhood schemes or other promotions.
Promotions may have additional eligibility requirements.
Unless otherwise stated:
- Rewards have no cash alternative;
- A referred customer must be a genuine new customer;
- Referral benefits may only become available after the referred customer has made a qualifying payment;
- Fraudulent, duplicate or self-referrals will not qualify; and
- We may amend or withdraw a promotion, but this will not affect benefits already validly earned unless reasonably necessary because of fraud, misuse or legal requirements.
Specific promotional terms will take precedence over this section where provided.
16. Customer Responsibilities
You agree to:
- Provide accurate booking information;
- Ensure we can safely access the bin;
- Identify the correct bin where requested;
- Ensure the bin is available following collection;
- Inform us of changes to your collection arrangements; and
- Not knowingly expose our staff to hazardous substances or unsafe conditions.
17. Damage
Our team will take reasonable care when handling your bins and working at your property.
You should tell us if a bin is already damaged or particularly fragile.
We are not responsible for pre-existing damage, normal wear and tear, or damage arising because a bin was already defective or structurally weakened.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence.
18. Complaints
If you are dissatisfied with a service, please contact us as soon as reasonably possible.
Providing photographs can help us investigate cleaning-related complaints.
We aim to resolve genuine service problems promptly and fairly.
19. Photographs
Our operatives may take photographs of bins before or after cleaning for service verification, quality control, staff training, complaint handling or operational records.
We will handle photographs and other personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
We will not use identifiable images of a customer’s property for marketing purposes where consent is legally required without obtaining the appropriate permission.
20. Personal Information
We process personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
Information may include your:
- Name;
- Address;
- Telephone number;
- Email address;
- Payment information;
- Service history;
- Bin identification information; and
- Photographs or service records.
Payment card information may be processed directly by our authorised payment provider rather than stored by Binzii.
21. Environmental Responsibility
Binzii aims to operate responsibly and to manage wastewater, cleaning products and waste generated during our operations in accordance with applicable environmental requirements.
Customers must not request or require our operatives to discharge wastewater or waste in a manner that we consider unsafe, inappropriate or unlawful.
22. Events Outside Our Control
We will not be responsible for delays or failures caused by events outside our reasonable control.
These may include:
- Severe weather;
- Local authority collection changes;
- Road closures;
- Vehicle breakdowns;
- Equipment failure;
- Utility interruptions;
- Industrial action;
- Emergency situations; or
- Changes to waste collection services.
We will take reasonable steps to minimise disruption.
23. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time.
The current version will be published on our website.
Where a change materially affects an existing recurring service, we will provide reasonable notice where required.
24. Termination of Service
We may refuse, suspend or terminate service where there is a reasonable operational, safety or legal reason to do so, including where:
- Payments remain outstanding;
- Staff are subjected to abusive, threatening or inappropriate behaviour;
- Access repeatedly cannot be obtained;
- Bins repeatedly contain dangerous materials;
- The service is being misused; or
- Continuing the service would create an unreasonable health or safety risk.
Any termination will be subject to applicable consumer law and any refund rights that may apply.
25. Our Liability
Nothing in these Terms excludes or restricts liability where doing so would be unlawful.
Subject to applicable law, we will not be responsible for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable when the contract was formed or for business losses arising from a consumer service.
Your statutory rights are not affected.
26. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
If you are a consumer resident elsewhere in the United Kingdom, you may also benefit from mandatory protections provided by the laws applicable where you live.
